EXPOSED: The ROOT  Behind the Fruit $$$

The love of money is the root of all sorts of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10.

Money is not evil. It is a fruit.

Roots produce fruit

Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. ” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. - Genesis 1:11-12NIV

The LOVE (of money) is the root.

And therefore the fruit that is birthed from the root (the love of money) is all sorts of evil.

Do you understand this?

Apple trees bear apples. Orange trees bear oranges. The love of money bears all sorts of evil.

Let’s look a little closer

1 John 4:8 says that God IS love.

Therefore, IF God is love, then 1 Timothy 6:10 is telling us that when we turn money into a god, it then becomes the root of ALL sorts of evil.

How did I get that out of this verse?

I am glad you asked. So, it actually starts with what I learned in elementary school about nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, sentence structure andb comparisons.

Let me show you.

The love

(of money)

is the root

(of all sorts of evil.)

1 Timothy 6:10.

Also, there is 1 John 4:8 which tells us that God IS love

Therefore, in 1 Timothy 6:10 where it says, “the love (of money) is…”, we can take out the word “love” and put in its place the word “god” per 1 John 4:8 so that the sentence would now read, “the god (of money) is…”

I did a study on this a while ago where I broke everything down and it led to the revealing of who the god of money is.

Do you know who the god of money is?

If you said Satan, it is not Satan because satan is not a root. (Remember the love of money is a root…)

You will be shocked to discover whom the love (god) of money is. It will definitely change your outlook on matters.

I made this lesson available on YouTube so that it can be shared. It was first shared on my other website (abasilenceministries.WordPress.com)

Here it is…

TRUE PROSPERITY: In The Seed or the Fruit?

John 12:24Amplified Bible (AMP)

24 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone [just one grain, never more]. But if it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest.

So where is the prosperity? In the seed, or in the fruit?

Which will you choose?

There are a lot of prosperity messages going forth on social media and across the pulpit. Many are gravitating towards these messages where they are being encouraged to pray to God for money and an increase in their finances.

These prosperity messages are supposedly  founded upon what Jesus said to his disciples, that “whatever it is that you ask in my name, i will do this, in order that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:13,14)

Are these prayers being answered by God?

Those who make these requests are really in need of help from JESUS, but sadly these prosperity messages are causing many to question

“Is God real? Does HE hear my prayers?”

Gods word says in reference to this problem:

“You do ask, and yet you do not receive, because you are asking for a wrong purpose, that you may expend it upon your cravings for sensual pleasure.” (James 4:3)

Yet, some cry out, “But Jesus said…’And this confidence that we have toward him, that, no matter what it is that we ask according to his will, he hears us. Further, if we know he hears us respecting whatever we are asking, we know we are to have the things asked since we have asked them of him.’” (1 John 5:14,15)

Is this a contradiction? Why would Jesus tell us that we could ask for whatever and He would give it to us, if that is not the case?

The key is that we are to ask “according to God’s Will”.

God’s Word states at Jeremiah 1:12 that God is watching to fulfill His Word. God’s Word also states at 2 Corinthians 9:8-12 that God gives seed to the sower.

God gives “seed”, not fruit. So it’s quite possible that, as one prays for prosperity to the ‘ONE who is able to abundantly supply seed to the sower and bread for eating’, a prayer that was offered in faith without doubting (James 1: 6-8), that God gave the seed, and the one praying did not recognize the seed because they were looking for the fruit instead.

Romans 8:26,27 tells us that when we dont know what to pray for, what to ask God for in prayer, that the spirit joins in with help for our weakness, and that it pleads for us with groanings unuttered. God already knows what the problem is because He knows the meaning of our spirit. But, because we do not always know what to pray for, God tells us the answer in His Word.

James 1:5 tells us that we can ask God for Wisdom where we lack and that God would give it to us.

  • Wisdom… to know what to pray for.
  • Wisdom… to recognize the seed that God gave us.
  • Wisdom… to know how to plant the seed.
  • and more…

You see, God said that HIS Word that goes forth from his mouth will not return to him void but it will do all that it was sent forth to do. (Isaiah 55:11) Remember, God is watching His Word to fulfill it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

So the question really isnt, whether or not God heard us.

Rather, the question is, whether or not we have been asking for seed or fruit.

Is there a difference?
