Who played it as a child?

“Simon says, turn around….” “Simon says, say Jesus… “

If you stopped turning around you are out because Simon didnt say stop turning around…

Now, “Simon says, stop turning around.”

Stop saying Jesus…

If you stopped saying Jesus you are out because Simon didnt say stop saying Jesus…

You get how the game works right…

Ok, now lets apply this game to real life….

Instead of “Simon says”, we are changing the name to Jesus Says but the same rules apply…

You keep doing what Jesus said to do until HE tells you to stop. If you do something other than what Jesus told you to do, you are O.U.T. out.

Are you ready?

Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself“
Jesus said, “Keep seeking FIRST the Kingdom and His righteousness”
Jesus said, “Stop storing up treasures for yourself upon the earth“

Gossip and take offense
(Did you do that today? YOU ARE O.U.T. out)

You want another chance? You want to get back into the game? Ok…

Jesus said, “FORGIVE those who mistreat you“
Jesus said, “Pray for those who despitefully use you“

Curse your frenemy under your breath, and despise them in your heart

(Are you doing that with the one that came to your mind? You are O>U>T OUT!)

Why?

You didnt do it outloud?

Well, just because you didn’t speak negatively about them out loud, or to another that doesn’t mean that GOD didn’t hear you.

Jeremiah 17:10 says that God searches the heart and examines the kidneys.

How are you doing in this game? Do you want to quit?

You cant quit the game because the minute you chose Jesus Christ to be your LORD AND SAVIOR, you began playing the game of JESUS SAYS…

The minute you started reading  Your Bible and quoting it to others; and using it to tell others about their own day to day walk, you started playing JESUS SAYS…

JESUS is the WORD of God.  John chapter 1 says In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word is God…  All Christians will agree that JESUS is the Word and therefore…

JESUS SAYS… that we are to be doers of the Word and not just hearers only

Therefore, as we are playing the game of JESUS SAYS we need to make sure that we are not counted out ourselves, because we didn’t do what JESUS SAYS ( aka “thus saith the LORD”) to us, while we speak of what Jesus is saying to others
