ACCESS GRANTED: Just Because I Asked

Your Access has been granted…

He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’ – Luke 8:10

Many want to get in but don’t.
Why?

Because they don’t ask.

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. – James 4:2-3

God tells us to ask HIM

“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name:‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ – Jeremiah 33:2-3

But this requires that you take time out to sit before HIM.

Ive been up since 4am.
I hit the snooze button 6 times.

By 4:30am I am up.
Lying in bed listening to the book of Luke being read to me while I play freecell on my cell phone.

How many games did I play before my attention was caught

“WAIT!!! I HEARD SOMETHING

I sat up to figure out what chapter was being read.

(Luke chapter 8 )

I rewinded it several times.

“I’m hearing something

It’s clear to the ears of my heart.
But To my mind, its Hebrew.
I can taste the words the melody my spirit sways to; but to my physical ears, the gateway to my mind, the words spoken so clearly are a jumble.

Its on the tip of my tongue.
I’m being told something important.

By 5:30am I have jumped up to grab my bible and notebook and pen.

“Ive got To write this down what I am hearing so I can process it… and remember it… And share it”

I grab my sword…

“Ooo… I need that bible too. Hmmm. And let me get this one too”

So I rewind the app to read it to me again as I follow and take notes. But so much is jumping out at me so I stop the app.

Now it’s just me my bibles a pen and some paper and the first thing that I am told is that my access has been granted.

Immediately I am reminded of John who had his access granted also. (Revelation 4:1,2)

Why me? Why have I been given access?

Simple, because I asked

You see we will spend time reading FB and reading each others spouts of wisdom and humour, but how much time do we spend tapping in to the Source of all wisdom knowledge and understanding.

We don’t have time.

We dont have time for God.
We want to get all of our sleep in.
We need to get ready for work or school so we can be on time and not get penalized because that could cost us our money, or jobs or recognition. (Never mind that the penalty of ignoring God is the loss of life.)

We dont have time for God.
We work or study hard so we want to rest.
We want to recreate and have fun.
We want to rest our minds and watch drama on tv.

We dont have time for God.
We need to clean our homes.
We need To clean our clothes.
We need to get in our kitchens.
We need to cook food and wash dishes.

We dont have time for God.
We are just too busy…

And yet we wonder why our access has not be granted like we see the access being granted to others.

You can come in.

“Your Access has been granted.”

But life is full of choices and one can choose to not go thru the opened doors.

So it is one’s own choices that will determine whether they benefit from having their access granted.

Many are blind to the choice before them.

But there are some who can see the choice yet they can’t seem to obtain it because of all that gets in the way. (Luke 8:11-14 opposition, obstacles, distractions)

This I realize is what I have been seeing all yesterday in the frustration that I fought to not spew in the process of unlocking and exposing.

I fought to find a way to speak that not everyone is going to heaven and why.

Only to find yet another scripture that explains the same. (Luke 8:4-15)

  1. The access is granted to few not to many. Why? (Luke 8:10)
  2. Further detail about why not to the many:
Because they allowed the seed planted in them to not be allowed to bear fruit (Luke 8:11-15)

The fact that this is being unlocked now.
The fact that we are being told to consider ourselves and our ways (Haggai 1:5,7)
The fact that we are in a time of inspection (Luke 19:41-44)

Who is in a time of inspection?

Shows that right now we need to be listening and paying attention.

The church only right now. (Revelation 11:1)

“Let him who has ears listen.” Luke 8:8(b)

6:50am. I am sleepy.
But I want more…
I want to know…

How does one get their access granted?

Simple. Just ask. (Jeremiah 33:3; James 1:5; and very important Genesis 32:24-26)

So even though I am sleepy now…
I have something to get. So I am not going to let the birds of the air steal from me that which is being opened to me now.

Sleep go away. You are a hindrance to my going thru the door opened to me. You are not welcomed at this time. I have authority over my body and will sleep when it is time. Now is not the time. I choose to grapple until I get my blessing. I choose to access the opened door.

I am so looking forward to what this day will unveil.

“Let him who has ears listen.” Luke 8:8(b)
