I did some research in the Bible on what this could represent. Let me provide you with some reference scriptures that you can look at later, all of which points to this disgusting thing as being immoral sexual intercourse

• Hosea 9:10

• 1 Kings 16:30-33

Even though I am stopping with the references here, there are even more references that support the information I am now getting ready to share with you about what I learned about Baal of Peor. These references point to sexual sins which is what characterized the worship of Baal of Peor.

I did some further research, all online – simply google Baal of Peor, in reference to the worship of Baal of Peor, the Moabite god who was worshipped with obscene rituals, and this is what I found…

(Now I have to share this information because God said that His people perish for a lack of knowledge. God also told Ezekiel that when He warns His Watchmen, then they have a responsibility to warn or they would be held accountable.)

Another name for Baal of Peor is Beelphegōr, and he is depicted as either a beautiful naked woman or a bearded demon

with an open mouth, horns and pointed nails.

The opened mouth had to do with how he was worshipped. It had to do with Sodomy.

It was reported that St. Jerome when he went to Syria, noted that the statues of Baal of Peor showed him as having a phallus in his mouth.

Now in case someone doesn’t know what a phallus is, it is a male sex organ while erect, or something that represents it such as the sex toys that are used by some.

Now, for those who worshipped the Baal of Peor, the acts of Sodomy were committed on males and females.

The statues were depicted as bi-gender or asexual and the priests of this false god cross-dressed. The men dressed as women and the women dressed as men.

The purpose of all of this was to intentionally blur the sexes so that men’s minds could be prepared to accept homosexuality.

This was disgusting to our Heavenly Father who destroyed His own people for participating in it. You will find that in those reference scriptures that I shared above. “

Subtly things have been incorporated in everyday life that we had no idea had significant meanings.

If one was to warn people about any of the things shared those who were guilty of participating in such practices would discount it.

For example, who would have known that the pointed fingernails was linked back to baal of peor.

We normally tend to reject that

A woman who likes to wear pointed fingernails would reject the connection with Baal of Peor. She would reject any suggestion that this would be something that our Heavenly Father would disapprove of.

The first thing felt would be that this is a little thing. But is it?

It’s not just about pointed nails. Sexual sins includes oral sex and sodomy, homosexuality, bestiality and more. This was used as a worship practice of Baal of peor.

We need to be mindful of these things because our God is a jealous God.

It’s dangerous to not understand what angers our Heavenly Father or why.
