I have asked God to teach me to be patient as he is patient and in the process of the lessons being learned…

what was dropped in my spirit today was priceless

I come to realize that even God lost his patience with those faithless Israelites (who saw God’s miraculous powerful works first hand) [ Hebrews 4:1-5]

And Jesus got fed up too with his disciples/apostles (see pic) for the same reason

… like FATHER, like daughter lol

Class is still in session. ☝

Let me not get started on all the several times in the old Testament when Moses had to intercede to keep the entire nation of Israel for being destroyed.

The same thing that ticks me off is what ticked FATHER off – complaining.

Complaining depletes my patience levels quickly moving me from 10 to 0 in 2.5 seconds lol.

I laugh about this and truth is I use to be a complainer in my younger days but when I really understood how much it angered GOD… Yea I stopped.

I think that’s why I’m at a place where it annoys me so much.

When I hear complaining, it’s like nails across a chalkboard for me.

Anyway…

The next thing is making excuses.

I am not to make an excuse for why I lost my patience.

So though I laugh about this saying, “DADDY, you’ve lost your patience too. I’m just like you.” … I also know that the real lesson here is self control. I need to maintain my peace, my patience, my joy inspite of what’s going on around me.

So I’m making no excuses. I’m just laughing a little. Laughter is good for my bones.
