PREFACE
How we go thru the battles we find ourselves in matters. Praise and worship music is very important. It encourages and strengthens us while helping us to be firm in our resolve to stand for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Remember that Jesus told Peter that Satan asked to sift him as wheat and Jesus said that His prayer request for Peter is that his faith not fail. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
As you read this attached post. If you find it encouraging, I humbly ask that you comment with a YouTube link to a song that you would listen to for encouragement during time of a battle.
Be blessed.
Be encouraged
Be still and know
That God is in control.

So many are going thru an intense battle right now – even me.
I just got through sharing this with someone in a battle in one of the groups I am in. I thought it will help many of you too.
It’s important that we understand the battle we are in. In order to do this :
- Check your garment. Ephesians 6:10-18 is what you must apply in battle.
You need to make sure that your complete suit of armor is on.
We know that the battle is not ours. It’s the Lord’s. But having our suit of armor on helps us to stand. So grab your bible and let’s go over each verse slowly carefully.
EPHESIANS 6 starting with
Vs.10 you are to be strong in the Lord.
Nehemiah 8:10 tells you that your joy in the Lord is your strength
James 1:2-4 tells you to count it all JOY when you go thru various trials …
And as you go thru remember Jesus said you are blessed at Matthew 5:3-12.
I encourage you to turn on some praise and worship music. Go to YouTube and find some battle music something that will help you to fight.
I don’t know what type of music you like but…
Vs 11. Put on the whole suit of armor so that you can stand.
Keep in mind the devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour. He asked that we be sifted as wheat. Jesus told Peter this. And Jesus prayer was that Peters faith not give out.
That truly is the only prayer that should be said. Prayers should be lifted that your faith don’t give out and that you endure the sifting process because it is allowed in order to purify you. See Zechariah 13:9
Plus faith comes by hearing and hearing by God’s word. So it’s God’s word that should be spoken to you in your hearing at times when you come under attack; and oiling you down in the word of God will keep the devil from getting a firm grip on you.
Vs 12 know who your battle us against at all times.
Humans are flesh and blood. Your battle is not against flesh and blood. The minute you fight flesh and blood you are losing the battle because you are out of place. You have to close your eyes in order to see.

The weapons of our warfare is not fleshly because it’s not people we fight against.
The devil will use people to come at us but we win the battle when we don’t fight in the flesh but we direct our blows in the spirit. That will stun the devil because he doesn’t think we can see.
Vs 13 once you have put on your armor and you have done all (see vs 10-12 again) then stand because the Lord God Almighty will fight for you. See 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8.
And now for your armor.

Vs 14 your lions girded with truth.
Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. When you know the truth gird your self with it and don’t move. Don’t compromise. Let your yes mean yes and your no mean no.
Breastplate of righteousness.
This covers your heart and it’s not man’s righteousness of who is right or wrong. Remember God declares us righteous by our faith. So hold tight to your faith. What you believe in. Be unchanging in your beliefs. And trust God with all your heart. See Proverbs 3:5,6
Vs 15 feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Be peace. Walk in peace. And be ready to speak the gospel of peace. Funny how the covering of our feet place a guard over our mouths. Lol
Vs 16 the shield of faith. Listen if your faith level is low for the intensity of your battle say this to King Jesus. “I have faith but where I lack give me more.”
Vs 17 the helmet of salvation covers your mind. It’s your hope. Know that God got you. Stand on your scriptures. Repeat them and meditate on them. Watch what you think about. Control your thoughts. What you meditate on gets into your heart which is the seat of motivation. So you need your helmet on . it also covers your ears. Be very careful of what you listen to. John 10:1-18 Jesus tells you how to know who is speaking to you. Only receive the truth. Jesus the Word of God is the way. The truth. And the life.
Finally the sword of the spirit. That is God’s Word. Use it. It’s is a sharp and powerful sword.
Vs 18 pray and supplicate God with a childlike persistence . See Matthew 18:1-4 and Psalm chapter 6.
Now let me go find that battle song for you. An instrumental that you can listen to as you sit before the LORD..I am confident that if you apply that word found at Ephesians 6:10-18 in your life you will find that you will win your battles.
For the Kingdom of Heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ our King our Savior our Great High Priest.
To GOD be the glory forever and ever AMEN
