I don’t remember what year it was that I first started to reject the lies of this world. But what I do know is that it was when I had enough that I began to search for the truth.

That search placed me smack dead in the center of what has turned into an amazing journey that placed me in front of not just any King, but the KING of Kings, King Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

You see in my search for truth I found Jesus Christ who is truth and I am still delving deep in to all of the Truth he spoke.

“… I tell you the truth… ” (Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John)

On December 8th, 2020 I found my self on yet another mission in the halls of truth. While I don’t specifically remember what started me on this new path, I do know that I wanted answers to the question that dropped in my spirit

The question was, “What is Love?

I wanted to know the truth, and not what this world presents as love (via movies, music, social media and the poor relational examples in the world around me).

I knew that if I was to know the truth, then I needed to go to the Source because God is Love. (1 John 4:8 )

So I took the plunge to see what Gods Word had to say about love and I have to admit that I haven’t even pushed out into the deep yet because there is a plethora to be gleaned even in the shallow edges of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding found just by bathing in the God’s Word.

I know that I am where I am supposed to be with this because I received confirmation that I was to stay on this path and wade out even deeper. I was lead to Philippians 1:9 which tells me that my love is to “overflow more and more”; and that I am to “keep on growing in knowledge and understanding.”

So today, Sunday December 20th, with 11 days left in this year, I have embarked on a new journey for 2021. I look forward to where this is going to take me as i step out in faith and dare to take this challenge to KNOW the truth of love.

“In Search of Love – A Quest For Truth”.

And as I ponder that descriptive title I can’t help but to think of this…

You can’t go to the Father (Love) except thru the Son (Truth). ( John 14:6 ) And no one comes to the Son (Truth) unless they are drawn by the Father (Love). ( John 6:44 )
