…today, finally.

We were taught this in ministerial training school.
When we leave a place, we want to leave it the same or better than when we first arrived.
I try to do this.

On another noteโฆ
Don’t you just hate it when a person breaks your stuff, and then want to replace what was broken with something cheaper.
That is another way people devalue you.
This is not something that is automatically understood. It has to be taught. You have to teach people how to value you.
When you break something that is not yours, if you can’t find the exact same replacement, then get a better quality item. Increase the value. But don’t give a poorer quality as a replacement.

Final practical application of adding value to others is thisโฆ
When someone puts their hands on you, or even their mouths on you, how they touch you has to do with how they value you.
If a person don’t value themselves, they won’t value you.
This is it in a nutshell.
A person that abuses themselves will abuse you.
Abuse is abuse. So even though a person might not hit themselves, if they abuse themselves in any other way, as an example, drug and/or alcohol abuse, then know they will abuse you too.
And when you abuse, or are abused by another, you are devaluing, or being devalued.
Now no one can do anything to you that you don’t allow soโฆ.
If you stay in an abusive relationship you are to blame. This truth is hard to accept because it exposes the fact that you don’t value yourself.
The day you begin to value your self is the day you will stop allowing others to devalue you.
Bingoโฆ
The day you begin to value your self is the day you will stop allowing others to devalue you.
When you value yourself you position yourself to be where you can gain more value, and you increase the value of those around you.
I got to chew on this for a while because
I’ve been in that position of being abused beforeโฆ
I’ve come out of thatโฆ Successfully
And now I’m in a place where my value keeps going up, and up, and up.
I need to chew on this for a while, and here is why.

Last point
If you don’t know what you have
You will lose it
Because you didn’t recognize
The value of what you had
To protect it
Catch.
