We all have a choice. But when all we are presented with is 50 shades of grey it can be hard to see that the choice is not grey. The choice is black or white not a compromised version of grey.

So our choices are
Up or down
Black or white
Yes or no
Life or death
Truth or lies
Right or wrong
Ok I didn’t add left or right to the choice because God’s word tells us to not turn to the left or right.
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. – Proverbs 4:25-27

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. – Joshua 1:7

But, of course there are some who might not listen and they might turn off the ordered path. (Unfortunately, I have done that in my years of rebelliousness).
But thankfully God knows our sinful makeup, that we are formed from the dust of the ground; and so at Isaiah 30:21 he lets us know that those who turned left or right (even though we were not supposed to) will hear a small still voice behind them that will say, “This is the way, go in it.”
God loves us.
Even when we make mistakes.
He lovingly reaches for us.
It’s up to us to reach back.
So today’s choice, and tomorrow’s choice and the choice of the day after…
For me
Is simple
I can choose to be full of joy and happy and enjoy life that is God centered because my focus remains on the Lord
Or
I can spend my day in my feelings and bent out of shape which is a self centered life because it’s focused on how stuff around me makes me feel. Its focused on “a division of personalities”. It’s a crazy choice but nevertheless it’s still a choice.
I am a laid back drama free person.
I don’t even do the drama of others.
So my choice is…
Dun duh da
JOY in the Lord.
It’s a choice…
That in this world is hard to maintain (lol) when people try to invade your space.com with their drama. (Lol)
But when you learn the value of joy you protect it at all cost.
Joy (in the Lord) is our strength.
Anxiety stress fretfulness drama depression is weariness to the bones.
End of day…
I got one long good whooping from the Lord a while ago and I never ever want to experience my heavenly father’s displeasure again.
I don’t even want to tiptoe around it and test its limits lol. So all day long…
I choose JOY
That’s my choice.
And I’m good lol.
:grinning:😀
