Can you SHARE the Conversation?

Have you ever talked with someone who did not share the conversation?

Person A: “…” Person B: (thinking “I would like to say something too.”)

Ok so let me start by saying I have some amazing friends and this is not about me and my friends.

My friends and I have the most amazing conversations. We be on the phone for hours and it seems like minutes. We share the conversation. We are like kids on the phone sometimes finishing one another’s conversation.

So yeah this is not that.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone that is not shared. They overtalk you. And they keep talking and not let you comment to the point that when you do try to comment they say, “let me talk”

So basically they do all the talking and you say nothing. You just listen, if you are paying attention at all.

If you don’t know anyone like that then let me share with you who…

First let me say that conversations are two (or more) sided. You talk. You listen. There is an interchange.

Some people talk really fast ( I know I talk fast and I have some friends that talk even faster than I do. )

Some people talk really slow. Lol.
And some fall in the middle.

Again this is not even about the speed in which someone talks.

This is about not sharing the conversation.

So are you ready to see a person who does not share the conversation?

A person who does not share the conversation is a person who prays prays prays says Amen and walks away.

(Ok what did you expect me to say.)

Understand that in that kind of conversation you could talk to a tree or any inanimate object and get the same response.

But when you are talking to our Heavenly Father then you need to listen.

You need to not just speak and say Amen and walk away. But you need to spend more time hearing and listening.

Psalm 107:20 says God sent his Word and Healed them.

But if you don’t stop to listen then the answer you sought you might miss it or experience a delay in receiving it.

Listen you need to catch this.

Daniel chapter 10 is the chapter that many do their 21 day fast on but…

Here is what many miss. (See attached pictures.)

The first month is Nisan. Nisan 10th is the Day of Preparation. Nisan 14th is Passover. Nisan 15th is the Feast of Firstfruits. And Nisan 15-22 is the Festival of Unleavened Bread. When you know these dates it adds to the significance of what is shared.
Daniel had a real relationship with the Lord. He was one who listened and heard. He was known for receiving answers from the Lord God Almighty. So it was not usual for him to not receive an answer.

These verses took place during the month of Nisan.

So…

Daniel was going to fast anyway because of the Passover celebration which was held Nisan 14th and the Feast of Unleavened Bread which was the 15th thru the 22nd in the month of Nisan.

So depending on which day Daniel started praying will depend on whether his prayer took him to Nisan 24th which is when Gabriel arrived.

Gabriel says that from the first day that Daniel set his mind to gain understanding and from the first day that he humbled himself and prayed, he was heard and an answer was sent.

If Daniel began his prayer on Nisan 1st or Nisan 2nd , his fast would have ended before Gabriel arrived. (Gabriel arrived on the 24th).

This means that Daniel prayed prayed and prayed and then got up and left.

omg Daniel, the scriptures told on you.

And this explains why Gabriel explained his delay before answering Daniel.

O.m.g.

Anyway I got to go now because I am at the part of the chapter that I wanted to dig into because of a video that I am working on.

So I’m ending this here lol…

But in closing, let me share this…

Our Heavenly Father is real. HE is alive. HE hears and HE answers us.

But do you really think that HE will really listen to you if your characteristic is to do all of the talking and not listen.

Just a little something to think about.
