FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY who is above all, and sees all:

In the name of Jesus, I bow myself before you and ask that you help me to be more patient with my fellow co-workers in Christ.

I find that I cannot rest to sleep right now because I am annoyed by these fellow “WORKERS in ministry” who is more concerned with advancing themselves than working at the ministry of reconciliation and encouraging those who are going through.

I find myself annoyed that workers who dont have a real heart for this ministry is showing up instead of laborers who will go that extra mile.

I find myself annoyed and I looked to YOUR WORD for correction but I cant figure out how to apply the Story of Martha and Mary to this situation and yet that is what I thought of – Luke chapter 10:

At the Home of Martha and Mary

38As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”41“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42but only one thing is needed.f Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

I feel like Martha who fussed because Mary didnt help. Yet DADDY I am having difficulty in applying this because those that are annoying me are annoying me because they are busy about promoting themselves instead of helping others to cling to you.

why is it frustrating to you?

Because these souls are precious to and I feel like we are in a fight against the devil for souls, so when a person spends more time promoting themselves than helping to deliver a soul from the grasp of the enemy it annoys me.

ok so why are you having problems with the above scripture?

Because I dont know how to apply it. I feel that they are distracted and yet I also feel that I am the one running around here being busy with preparations so no matter what I am seeing Martha and not Mary who sat at your feet and listened to what you said.

I feel annoyed because when that scripture flips on me and I see them sitting doing nothing and myself being Martha and agitated, then I say to myself that I will just sit and not do anything either. But that increases my annoyance because of the many sheep who are scattered, the many sheep who are hurting and I just cant sit here and do nothing in reaching out to help them to look to you.

Daddy this is why I am lifting the issues of my heart to you as Jesus said when He said for me to throw my burdens upon him because he cares.

This is why I am asking for more patience, because at the end of the day, regardless of what the next person does, I need to make sure that I am giving my 100%.

Help me with my annoyance Daddy. Help me to not allow that seed of frustration to take root in my garden. Help me to simply remain prayerful and stay focused.

You told me to not look to the left or to the right. I get it now. Looking to the left or to the right will reveal to me many many many inconsistencies that could cause me to veer off of the path I am on that has been foreordained by you.

Help me to remember Daddy that YOU sit high and YOU look low and YOU are well aware of all that is going on in this great work. Help me to remember that and not forget that .

But DADDY it still annoys me… why?

when you have an itch what do you do?
scratch it

this annoyance is simply an itch that needs to be scratched.

When you cant reach the part of the body that itches what do you do?
I ask for help in scratching the itch.

Asking for help is what motivates prayer. The prayers of the righteous availeth much. and yet, there are times when you dont know what to pray for and when those times comes I have sent help to you in that MY spirit bears witness with YOUR spirit and MY Spirit knows the meaning of the groanings of your spirit.

I have heard you. I heard you even before you got back up to come here.

And now that you have given it to me, take courage. There is nothing in this world that I am not aware of. There is nothing hidden to my sight. I will handle things in my time. Remember that my time is not the time of mere man.

Your request to be taught patience is being granted and here is your first lesson.

WAIT ON THE LORD prayerfully.
