Nevertheless,
God’s solid foundation stands firm,
sealed with this inscription:

“The Lord knows those who are his,”

and,

“Everyone
who confesses the name of the Lord
must turn away from wickedness.”
– 2 Timothy 2:19 NIV

There is no excuse

We can’t keep using the excuse

“God is still working on me”

Right before Jesus died
The last thing Jesus said was

It Is Finished!

Therefore the Lord GOD Almighty did HIS part and our part is to listen, believe, and obey.
(See Luke 6:46)

In this verse God tells us what to do.
He tells us what we need to do and we say,
“HE is still working on us”
which is our excuse for why we are not applying God’s Word in our lives.

But do we really know what we are saying when we say, “He is still working on me.”

Basically we are saying that we need to be whooped a little more, disciplined a little more, suffer a little more before we make that decision to stop being hardheaded and rebllious towards God.

How does that old saying go…

“Hard heads make ______”

God tells us what to do. It’s up to us to do it or bump our heads.

I know what my “free will” choice is lol

No one will be able to say that they didn’t know.
