DID YOU KNOW…
That when you ask God to fill you up…
- that you are asking God to inspire you
** to cause your creative juices to flow
** to mentally stimulate you
** to create in you an urge to do or feel something
** to set a fire inside of you
Jeremiah said that the Word of God became like a fire shut up in his bones. He couldn’t contain it.
The Apostle John said by inspiration he came to be in the Lord’s Day and then he began to reveal all that he saw and heard as instructed to by King Jesus in the book of the Bible that we call Revelation.
As a matter of fact, we are told at 2Timothy 3:16 that ALL Scripture is inspired of God.
We need to understand this…
Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated (or inspired). That process, or filling (inspire) comes from an external creative impulse (inspired).
So in 2Timothy 3:16 we get it all. We are are told what was inspired ( ALL Scripture), who inspired (is inspired of God) and how it is inspired or filled (and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness
And check out what verse 17 says of those who come under this inspiration (that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.)
Who wants to live a life of inspiration. I know I do. I have found that I enjoy the mental stimulation that causes my creative juices to flow.
I have learned to understand the process, the series of actions or steps to take in order to position myself to be inspired. You see Psalm chapter 1 tells us that Happy is the man whose delight is in the law of Jehovah , and in his law he reads in an undertone both day and night. And Joshua chapter 1 tells us that the book of the law should not depart from our mouths but we must in an undertone read in it both day and night.
Now comes the benefits…
Joshua 1:8 says then we will make our way successful and we will act wisely.
2Timothy 3:17 says that we will be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work
And the Apostle John said in Revelation 1:3 that we would be happy.
Now understand that this inspiration, this process of being mentally stimulated needs to come from God Almighty. We live in a world filled with stimulation overload. Stimulation can come from anywhere. We can be stimulated in a positive way OR in a negative way. We have a choice in the matter.
Just know that it is the inspiration that comes from God, his breath breathed upon us, that causes us to be blessed creatively, that causes us to do or feel something creative, that causes us to birth something of great worth, yes that even causes us to wake up every morning for inspiration is the drawing in of breath.
So right now breathe in, inhale… God has inspired you. God has filled you. God has given you the urge the ability to do or feel something creative. Therefore we have a responsibility to go out and be creative, and not just exist.
Have a blessed rest of your day by inspiration.
