A long time ago I learned something that greatly impacted me. This is what I learned…
We have programmed answers that we have been trained to give to certain things. But just because we know the programmed answer does not mean that we understand the matter of “why”.
Jesus tells us that in all of our getting we are to get wisdom knowledge and understanding.
God tells us at Jeremiah 33:3 to ask HIM and HE will show us great and unreachable things.
God tells us at James 1:5 that if we lack in wisdom we can ask him
God tells us at James 5:13 to call to Him in the day of trouble (trouble is not necessarily negative. One definition is a lack of understanding.)
We humans do not “know it all”, but God does. God is the SOURCE of all wisdom knowledge and understanding and HE says we can ask HIM and HE will answer us without reproach.
God won’t treat us like man treats us when we ask questions.
Apparently, man feels some type a way about being asked a question as if their not having the answer means they are defective or stupid and that is not the case.
God put eternity in our hearts and gave us glory.
Do you understand what this means?

Proverbs 25:2
It’s the glory of man to search out a matter.
In other words, we will never “know it all”. But oh the amazing fun we can have in learning and searching out matters and trying new things.
But this is the reproach that we get from man…
“Oh you think you know it all.”
My answer:
No I don’t know it all but my heavenly Father who is the SOURCE of ALL wisdom knowledge and understanding said that if I don’t understand I can ask him. He tells me to keep asking keep knocking and that in all my getting to get understanding.
So I don’t just want a programmable answer that I can rotely repeat. I want what Father tells me to get which is understanding.
With that being the case, I then must recognize who is behind the reproach. Who does not want me to ask questions and why.
Could it be that if I ask enough questions as I seek to understand that I might just discover that the programmed answer might not be correct and I might just learn the TRUTH.
Jesus is the Way, the TRUTH, and the life.
“I love Jesus so much.” Oowee
Therefore, I am discovering that when I hear comments that try to discourage learning, discourage the asking of questions, or put me down for sharing what I’m learning as I continue to knock ask and seek like Jesus said, I am discovering that those comments are demonic inspired because only the devil will not want me to know the truth.
Why?
Because Jesus said that we will know the truth and the truth will set us free.
How about that.
It’s time out for the programmed answers.
It’s time we start going after understanding.
It’s time out that we make sure that we understand .
In doing so we will be putting into motion
Proverbs 3:5-6 which tells us to
Lean not unto our own understanding
But in all our ways
Acknowledge the Lord
And HE will
Make our crooked paths straight.
May the reader of this find an eternity of joy in learning.
