Out of all that you own…
… What is your “special treasure”?
Does because something is not your “special treasure” mean that you won’t take care of it too and protect it from harm?
Being a visual person, as I look around me, I have a lot of “stuff” but there is something that I have that I treasure and because of that I keep it near me throughout the day every day.

That speaks volumes. That is the significance of Psalm 91:1 and what it means to dwell.
Whew!
And how about this…
It’s not the packaging that makes a treasure special, but what is found inside it.
Glory.
I have a lot of “stuff” but I also have a special treasure that is shown. I value all of the stuff on my desk and I use it for its purpose. But my special treasure has a greater value to me and because of that I keep it near me and I use it more.
In this natural setting Father speaks to me of his special treasure (see Exodus 19:4-6) and though it has changed to exclude and then changed again to include, what has stood out to me more is his loving care for us all.
Each item has a purpose. Not one item is more important than the next. I care for all of the items on my desk. That is why they are on my desk. But of all of the items on my desk there is one that is a special treasure to me.
Not one item on my desk can say of the other “you are not needed. Lol.
Yet what is crazy to me is that this is what we humans do to one another.
You don’t look like me so you are not needed.
You don’t think or believe like me so you are not needed.
You don’t function or act like me so you are not needed.
How sad that way of thinking is and especially when it shows up in the form of religious beliefs.
What is even more awesome is that as I’ve taken some time away from Facebook (without announcing it or shutting anything down but just doing it) because I needed the Lord to refresh me…
… And where I had the most amazing experience of being shown even more so of how Holy our Father is and Sovereign
… there was a third quality that I asked about and wanted to understand and that quality was love. God is love and I realize that I don’t really understand this love. So I asked God
I want to know what love is. I want YOU to show me.
This morning in the midst of another amazing study I ran across this –
The Special Treasure out of ALL that is owned.
But that isn’t all.
The fact that the door of invitation to be a part of the “special treasure” is opened to ALL blows me away. (John 3:16)
And the fact that there are some who will try to close that door before others by putting stipulations on it that God Himself did not put on it is ___ ___. I literally have no words to describe the sadness and perturbedness I feel over that but Jesus had a lot to say about these ones. (Matthew 23:13)
The fact that nothing can keep our Heavenly Father from receiving to Himself ALL that HE deems to be HIS special treasure makes me shout.
(Luke 15:8-10)
Glory!!!
There is more that I can say on this but I’ve got to get back to my original study and not let tasty morsel be a distraction to the main meal for this morning.
Be Blessed and may this snippet inspire and compliment your own further personal studies.
