In Hour 4 of the Driven by Eternity curriculum under the topic: The Great Falling Away, Pastor John Bevere stated (and I am paraphrasing) that this world is “living according to their nature.” He said that it “doesn’t surprise him as to what they are doing and how they are behaving. But what is surprising is the behavior of those who claim to be no part of the world, those who claim to be christian, yet whose lives imitate those of this world.”
What is surprising is those who claim to be Christian yet are riding on the fence in that while they claim to be no part of the world, they are loving the things of the world through their approval of the world.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. – Romans 1:28-32

Are we inadvertently approving some things manifested in the world, while we openly disapprove other things manifested in this world? For example, are we approving the musicians, their music, their videos, how they carry themselves, how they dress, how they perform, while we disapprove homosexuality, drug addictions, and other vices that dominate this world.
Does not James 2:10,11 show that sin is sin. no one sin is greater than another? Does not 1 John 1:15-17 say that whomever loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. and that everything in the world – the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the showy display of one’s means of life does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world.
The question that I ask, not of those who are reading this post, but of myself, is this:
If I am no part of this world;
if I don't want to be linked with this world's behaviors, (because 1 John 1:16 does clearly say that these things do not originate with the FATHER, but originates with the world); if I want to maintain...
that I am set apart,
that I am different,
that I am Christian,
then why would I concern myself with what others are doing?
This world is seductive.
It will make sure that I can see things that I don’t approve of in a move to wear me down.
I just recently had to 30day snooze someone that I considered a friend because her content that showed up in my news feed contained perversion that she shared from someone else and now what I saw bothers my heart.
(Snoozing is not unfriending. It just limits what is seen for a limited time.)
This world and that spirit of Antichrist wants to gain access to my heart, to my seat of motivation, to my kidneys, to the very innermost parts of me that God will be examining.
This is why it is important that we stay geared up in our complete suit of armor.
Facebook won’t need to know whether I watched a video or liked a performance. I dont have to post that. I can guarantee you that there are many “christians” who watched and liked some things but didn’t turn away from other things that they will claim to not have liked.
I can guarantee you that there are many “christians” who will not post about having watched any televised production that can be listed as questionable. But the point of the matter is that it doesnt matter what one posts on FACEBOOK, what matters is the condition of one’s heart.
God is reading us.
What is HE reading in us as HE examines our hearts, kidneys and motives?
What recently and CLEARLY has been revealed to me has been the spirit of the Antichrist. I dont know how I expected this spirit to look. I think I expected intense persecutions in the form of what our brothers and sisters in some parts of Africa and our Jewish brethren have had to undergo. I think I expected the spirit of the Antichrist to be volatile.
I totally didn’t see the subtlety of what I am seeing now coming at me. I didn’t see how luring and alluring this spirit could be, and what is weird is that I am now seeing Numbers chapter 25 and the seductiveness that was used to lure the Israelites into the trap of worshipping Ba’al of Pe’or.
LORD GOD my eyes are being opened even more. I prayed for this. I asked you to open my eyes so that I can see. You are showing me things that we have been blinded to. So many of your people still do not see this.
I feel some type of way again.
I can’t explain it.
All I know is what I see.
When I was impressed upon to begin writing the Virginia Chronicles I was given a vision. I saw a storm raging like a hurricane of which I stood in the middle of it, in the eye of the storm, with my feet planted as I was instructed by a voice that I heard. I felt the push and the pull of the wind but I did not move. I would not turn to the left or to the right. I stood still with my feet planted and my head bowed in prayer.
I wrote the vision down and haven’t written much else. I didn’t understand the vision then, but now I feel that I am being shown the anger of our Heavenly Father. Numbers 25:2,3
Of all of God’s people, including the priesthood and the Levites, only one (#1) took a stand and tolerated no rivalry toward God.
No rivalry meaning that we will not approve of what God disapproves of. No rivalry meaning that we will fight hard to not fall prey to the allurements of this world that has been set as traps for us.
That spirit of antichrist was slick in how it has been easing up amongst us. we heard it was coming. but did we really know what to look for?? If we did, why didn’t we guard our gates (eye gates and ear gates). ๐๐๐
