Jesus told the disciples to take the beam out of your eye first so that you can see to take the splinter out of the eye of another.

Ezekiel was told to eat the scroll and let it get in his belly first before he went to speak it into the hearing of those God was sending him to.

This is what I also had to do and what I saw was opened doors. Doors that needed to be closed. From that work that I first had to do and the lessons that I first had to learn comes this urging…

Close the doors!

I have been asking Father to show me any opened doors in my life so that I can close them. Ive been regularly doing this since 2011 when Father first revealed this to me.

So, regularly I examine myself in accordance with the Word of God and I ask for any doors that I’ve opened unknowingly to be closed in the name of Jesus Christ. I’ve asked this for a while and will not stop asking for this. Here is why:

When we use our dishes, after they have been used do we not stick them in the sink to be washed? Don’t we refuse to use dirty dishes without first washing them. So when God uses us mightily in service, it is important that we are washed which is why it is important for us to humble ourselves before our Heavenly Father.

God Almighty is the SOURCE of all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. He tells us at Jeremiah 33:3 to ask of him and he will show us great and unsearchable things.

Through a study of God’s Word, and by the example set by Jesus Christ, I have been taught to address the core of issues and not the surface matter. In this training (Psalm 144:1), the Holy Spirit opened the eyes of my understanding to see opened doors around us all, what opened them, how to close them, and the need to not just close the door but lock the door and how.

Then, He empowered me to be able to share this with others by supplying me with everything I needed (tools, understanding, and endurance) to be able to present this message in such a way that it could be understood.

For this, I thank God Almighty, our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, for His indescribable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:10-15)
