I want to introduce this in some fancy way but I don’t have time. So…
Here is the post I saw…

While there were many comments shared, I am only sharing what was laid upon me for this reason.
I heard the answer spoken to me which I shared and I realized this needed to be shared.
All I know is that I want my ears wide open to hear when the Lord speaks. And I want to not harden my heart when I hear HIM speaking.
He is not limited in how He speaks either. So I need to make sure I listen and that I dont limit myself in how I hear.
A servant of God was led to ask a question randomly.
He was speaking to us all.
What did we hear?
That reminds me of when Jesus said to the disciples, “who do men say I am?”
Then He said, “who do you say I am?”
Therefore to the question asked, this was my response based upon what I heard.
My Response
May I share…
My answer first starts with the asking of a question for clarity to your question
My question is
Did you ask God first before you hypothetically made your decision?
Did you pray first asking God what decision you should make?
I know this is a hypothetical question, so is the hypothetical person a Christian?
It would affect how I answer.
As a Christian
Which mean we follow Christ Jesus
Then we have a responsibility to consult God first.
NonChristians don’t follow Christ Jesus. So they will have many bump your head moments that can be used to teach them the benefits of following Christ.
But for a Christian this is a matter of rebellion because God told us Proverbs 3:5-6
1. To lean not to our own understanding
2. To, in all our ways, acknowledge God
And
3. It is God who will make our paths straight.
This is a very serious matter because it is the very reason why God brought a plague upon the people in 2 Samuel 24.
The verse opened by saying AGAIN the anger of the Lord burned against Israel.
The reference to why it says again takes us back to Joshua chapter 9 when the Israelites did not consult God first before making the decision to enter into a covenant relationship with the gibeonites.
So for a Christian to make a decision
Without first consulting
Not man
Not woman
Not a human leader
But without first consulting King Jesus
Is an act of rebellion
That will open the door to trials.
Choose like David to fall into the hands of the Lord and not man
But in order to make that choice
One must understand that to
Make a decision without
Consulting God first
Is a sin against God.
Father in the name of Jesus I just want to say that I hear you
Lately you have been allowing me to see things before it happens.
King Jesus you are faithful.
You warns us beforehand.
I ask now for my mind to be bound to the mind of Christ.
I pray now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, lead me not into temptation but Deliver me from all evil.
I ask in the name of King Jesus for the opening of my eyes to see with understanding as You have opened my ears to hear.
I receive this reminder.
Protect me King Jesus.
Oil me down so that the enemy can’t get a firm grip.
If I am connected to something I should not be,
Release me
Free me
Or
Keep me from taking
Keep me from receiving.
In the name of Jesus.
You cause your people to speak these things for a reason.
These be more than just random posts.
I lift up all who see these posts and I pray for them also that Your Word quickens within them.
You tell us TODAY when we hear Your voice to not harden our hearts.
Break up the fallow ground of your people so that we can respond with obedience.
Lord open our eyes to see.
Help us King Jesus
To crucify our flesh
And obey YOU.
Thank you Lord.
I love you too.
Rev D. This was no random post you made.
I hear the Spirit spoken thru you
Proverbs 3:5-6 is not just a cute quotable scripture.
It is a key that needs to be used by the people of God.
It opens a door of safety
The name of the Lord is a strong tower to whom the righteous run and are given protection.
If you run to the tower use your key of obedience to open the door and go into the secret place where you are protected (Psalm 91)
If you do not use the key of obedience. You will find yourself like the 5 foolish virgins (Matthew 25) standing outside of the door and not being allowed in.
Protection is inside the tower. Not at it knocking on the door.
Protection was inside the Ark with Noah.
Not banging on the door to get in.
Proverbs 3:5-6 is the key
Make no decisions without first consulting the LORD
If you have done so already.
Simply repent like David did.
There might be some consequences
But Father is merciful and forgiving
He looks to his children with discipline to train us Hebrews 12:5-12 not harm us.
Just like we discipline our children .
Catch ๐
