This was too funny to not share from 9 years ago. Especially because its been a while since I ate a peanut butter cheesecake. Now my tastebuds are awakened lol

Welcome to the Hangry Club

SO….

… I didnt cook today…
(made a 2meat/3cheese lasagna; 6 layer salad; and a peanut butter cheesecake)

put the left over lasagna off limits until tomorrow… (cant wait for sunday’s dinner leftovers)

ate the leftover salad for dinner today

decided to go back for some of the left over cheesecake… I grabbed my spoon, grabbed a mug to put the cheesecake in… opened the refrigerator and didnt see the foil pan with the delicious sweetness in it… still holding my spoon because my tastebuds didnt want to believe my eyes… i first looked on each shelf … my tastebuds telling my mind that my eyes were lying… hehehe… then my mind walked my feet over to the garbage can so that my eyes could tell my tastebuds that fussing and picketing with a spoon would be fruitless…

tonight I felt my tastebuds cry

and heard my mind comfort the weeping tastebuds while my eyes gloated

this body I live in is a trip… there is never a dull moment in it
