Having gone thru the I Am a Giant Slayer Spiritual Warfare Workshop Classes, I find myself a little more alert to the subtle attacks to our faith.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. – Ephesians 6:10-13

I didn’t expect to have to use my garments of warfare, namely my Helmet of Salvation so quickly after having taken the class.

The class definitely prepared me to be able to recognize what I would have missed without having been dressed. So I totally understand why the Apostle Paul told us to take the armor up and put it on.  The adversary is definitely busy.

I was casually browsing social media and I feel pretty good about my social media home page because it is predominantly inspirational and motivational posts that I see in my feed which is from other ” believers”. But I was reminded that I still need to be cautious as a Soldier of Christ.

This is what I saw…

Is this scriptural? Is this a prayer that would be granted with a yes and amen by King Jesus who is our yes and amen? Is this prayer in alignment with the will of God?

As much as my flesh wanted to agree, my spirit said check first if this is a prayer that would be answered with a Yes or if it would be unanswered by God. 

I looked for my two or three witnesses which firmly establishes every matter :

Witness 1:

God’s Word says that “we Learn Obedience thru the things we suffer”(Hebrews 5:8) wow. Mistakes and problems is how we learn and learning stimulates growth from infancy up. We learn to problem solve and we learn to make decisions and how to choose through the problems we overcome. 

Need two more witnesses though

Witness 2:

God’s Word says that “no weapon Formed against us shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). It doesn’t say the weapon won’t form. It says it won’t prosper. Why? Three reasons A) because King Jesus is watching over us protecting us from unseen. 1 John 5:18. B) because of what we learned – (see witness 1), and more importantly because c) God said so and God cannot lie. Hebrews 6:13-20. I am a living testimony of this because I have huge experiences of weapons being formed against me and God revealing it and then helping me to over come it. 2 Chronicles 20 is another example of what happens when God fights our battles for us. And this is something that cannot be learned if the problem didn’t first form. 

Oh wow and now I see the error in the original statement and why I felt moved to shared this detail with everyone. But first let me share the greatest witness 

Witness 3

King Jesus Himself

…cried tears of blood because of the brutal stress HE was under. He said in prayer, 

“Father, if it is Your will (a), remove this cup from me (b), nevertheless not my will but thine be done (c).”

(a) Jesus example teaches us to pray in accordance with the will of  God

(b) the problem, the cup, was the suffering and death that he was preparing to go thru. It was the cross he had to bear. And Jesus taught us to pick up our cross also and walk (Mark 10:21)

(c)Jesus humbled himself and submitted to God. And therefore He didn’t press for His prayer request to be answered but instead that God’s will be done. 

God did not remove the cup. God’s will was for Jesus to drink from that cup because thru it the rest of us, all of us, by faith in Jesus, are saved. 

So for everyone reading this my prayer is based on God’s Word found at Hebrews 10:36 which says that “we have need of endurance so that after we have done the will of God we may receive the promise”. I also pray the prayer that Jesus prayed for Peter and the other disciples whom he said would be sifted like wheat. HE prayed that their faith not fail and that is my prayer for myself and everyone here. That we patiently endure and that our faith not fail. (Luke 22:31-32,40,46)

This is my prayer request for everyone in the name of Jesus Christ.

Many will not like what I shared here. Many will not understand that the post is incorrect and subtly formed to sound correct while promoting 1. Non growth and 2. Craftily worded to turn us from our Heavenly Father who is also “unseen”.

Having on the complete suit of armor protects us from misaligning ourselves even in agreement. Everything that sounds right is not necessarily right. That was a lesson EVE had to learn . She was deceived by the serpent. Adam on the other hand made a choice to turn from truth and disobey  so im sure some will reject this also which is clearly rooted in God’s Word. That’s fine it’s a choice. 

King Jesus, it’s out of love that I share this. The heart of the people is in your hands. You are the truth and the light. Understanding will come from You. I lift everyone who sees this up to you including the orginal poster. Open the eyes and ears of those who belong to you I pray. I pray for their endurance also in your name King Jesus.

God’s word says to test the spirit by the Spirit.
