1 Timothy 6:12 New King James Version
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called, and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
In order to fight a good fight, you must be fully equipped.
20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21 New International Version
God did fully equip us. He gave us everything we needed. But if we don’t take up and put on what was given to us, that is our fault.
Luke 6:46 King James Version
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Are you Dressed for Battle?
Do you understand what our daily battle is?
Or whom it is with?
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Revelation 12:7-17 New International Version
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
The woman, the bride of Christ, the church is us collectively.
Individually, we are the offspring who keep God’s commands and hold fast to our testimony about Jesus.
And that dragon, the original serpent, called Satan and devil, walks about like a roaring lion looking for a convenient time to attack us.
So we have to stay dressed for battle so that we can stand against the wiles, schemes, and attacks that are hurled at us. The armor helps us to STAND.
and after we have put on the armor and STOOD in submission to God while resisting the devil…
there is one more thing that we need to learn
and that is the BATTLE CRY
it is a specific sound.
we call it prayer
but that is too general a term
because we begin to equate it with the various types of prayer.
but its not just the type that we need to know
We need to understand the SOUND

There is a sound that will command the attention of heaven.
There is a sound that will stop everything and draw all attention to you in the moment that you use it.
What is the sound of the Battle Cry?
There are three witnesses in the Word of God who effectively demonstrated the use of the Battle Cry
so powerfully that…
