Fun fact: David, when fighting against Goliath, was actually dressed in his full armor of God. He actually had on all 7 pieces of his full armor and used his battle cry.
Yet when we think of David going up against Goliath we picture a boy with a slingshot.
The full armor of God is listed at Ephesians 6:14-18 (with the exception of one piece that wasn’t listed by the Apostle Paul).
How did David wear each piece?
When did David put on his armor?
All of that is answered in this link:
This is interactive.
Test your knowledge:
1) Before you click the link, on a piece of paper write down each piece and how David wore it.
2) Then click the link to see if your answers match what was revealed.
Have fun.
And to those who inspired this Bonus module with their feedback, thank you. Prior to this I had not considered how David wore each piece or when it was necessary for David to suit up for Battle.
I was amazed to find that we enter into spiritual battles before we enter into physical battles. Yet, by the time we have entered the physical battle, we have already won the battle when we fight it in the spirit first.
David’s example teaches us this.
Wow.
So what battle are you in?
Are you dressed for battle?
Did you fight it first in the spirit?
If you are not sure, or don’t know how, you are going to want to click on this link and see how David did it.
