Wake Up! Come To The Table For Breakfast!

Good Morning. Wake up. It’s time for the most important meal of the day.

At least that is what I’ve heard growing up.

I chose not to eat the physical food because the spiritual food was filling enough, lol.

As an adult I can say that I have never been big on eating breakfast. But as of today, my idea of the importance of breakfast has now been greatly impacted.

It is now 6:00am and I want to share with you an email that I sent out early this morning to a friend.

I was asked a question about the daily sacrifice in the bible. I answered it. Then this morning I was awakened early and Father answered me lol and I had to go back and share.

I feel that what i was told was so potent that I wanted to share this here with you also.

Wow is all i have left to say.

Wow!!!

Here is what I shared…

It is 4:44am.

While looking for something else, I just found the info you asked about the daily offering (sacrifice).

Exodus 29:38-46

So this is what the priest did daily for everyone as a whole for the entire group (nation of Israel).

(Similar to what we would do waking early in the morning, and again in the evening.)

V.38

The lambs was 1 year old

This impacted the flavor of the meat. The readiness of it. Not too young, nor too old. Timing matters.

Today, that practice is still happening in reference to the meats slaughtered in the slaughter houses and then packaged for us to buy in the stores.

Consider this about back then:
They were in the wilderness (desert). They did not have electricity nor refrigeration.
They didn’t have ice.
They did not have grocery stores.
So, their practices are reflective of that time.

It’s a practice that many who lived before refrigeration and electricity would understand. A practice that would be foreign to us unless we lived on a cattle farm and was in the habit of processing cattle.

So, the age impacts the flavor. For us who garden, we wait for the ripeness before we pick our fruits and veggies because it impacts the flavor.

In the stores, we dont see that part because we get our food prepackaged for us, not knowing the process that brought the meat from the range to our tables, but…

Today, we have also been informed by many whistle blowers greedy big business has caused such a demand that our meats are being injected with hormones to cut the process time. For example,  to raise up chickens quicker I think I heard it takes 48 days from 🥚  to 🐣 to  🐥 to 🐔 to 🍗 .

In Harrisonburg, Virginia, we saw a lot of chicken farms and there was a chicken processing plant where we saw truck loads of chickens processing in and packaged chickens coming out. 😳

Vs.39

This reminds me of  what Jesus said at John 11:9 about their being 12 hours in the day

We grew up viewing time as 24 hours in a day.

But The Truth (Jesus) said that there are 12 hours in the day.

That truth is such…

6am to 5:59pm is 12 hours called Day.

6pm to 5:59am is 12 hours called night.

According to the creation account in Genesis, there was night and then day a new day.

But for us our new day begins at 12 am, which is half of (or six hours into) the evening hours.

The Jewish new day begins with 6pm and ends at 5:59 pm.

Thus, their morning prayer was at 6 am for that group of 12 hours

And at 6 pm (twilight) for that group of 12 hours.

The priest made this offering daily for the people as a whole.

This would be indicative of what parents do for their children and those they are accountable for when they are praying for them early in the morning before they start their day and in the evening as they end their day (as well as throughout the day).

But why a burnt offering?

Vs 40-41

Think of it like this…

Breakfast and Dinner

Today (yesterday), some eat real breakfast and not cereals, which was introduced later (lol):

bacon and sausage ( the meat)
Toast or pancakes ( the grain)
W butter or syrup (the pressed oil)
And milk, juice, or coffee (the wine)

Vs 42

This was to be a continual practice that means it should continue today. This practice would not have ended.

It really does still continue and many of us have done it, not knowing what we were doing. (Lol)

Here is how: (Practical Application)

The first meal of the day, we were told, is the most important – breakfast.

Then the evening meal was important too – dinner.

The daily sacrifice (twice a day) is the meals where parents and children started their day and ended their day together.

Father was treating His people as children.

Back then they ritualized what they did not understanding the significance of what they were doing. Moses understood, the people didnt.

Just like today, in reading it, many miss the significance of the daily sacrifice,  making it about the slaughter of animals and rejecting how we are to apply it today because instead of viewing it in the spirit, it is viewed naturally. So it goes over our heads causing us to not realize that we do the same things today.

GOD is so amazing. HE was setting the standard and example for us as parents with children.  (See verse 43 “…and there i will meet with the children… “)

God is so amazing in how HE loves us

So the priests did this offering daily. They went before the LORD daily, starting their day with the Lord and ending their day with the Lord.

It’s a time of prayer and intercession.

Ritually speaking, we see it today when the priests (pastors) intercede for those they are in charge of. It should be a daily sacrifice.

But to ritualize it today makes it no more effective than it was back in the day when the animals were slaughtered, though what is offered today is the bull of the lips. (Hosea 14:2)

Walking in the Spirit, we are to live the scriptures, so here is the “true” practical application of the daily sacrifice:

We (the people/children of GOD) are all called to be priests (1Peter 2:9)

Our body being the temple (1 Corinthians 6:19)

We are all called to prayer (Ephesians 6:18-20; Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1; Matthew 6:9)

Thus, the example of the daily sacrifice is that when we get up in the morning, we start our day with the Lord

Sitting at the table …

with the meat (the word of God),
the bread mixed with oil (our prayers in the name of King Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit [Romans 8:26,27])
and the wine (our walk and intent to have a good day in the name of the Lord)…

God meets us in that morning meal and

We, our bodies, which are the temple of God, are cleansed (sanctified) for the day. Our mindset is right for the day. God orders our steps so that no matter what happens in the course of the day, we can handle it because God got us and keeps us.

So, we present ourselves in harmony with Romans 12:1-2, and we are told that this is our “reasonable sacrifice.”

We end our day the same, thanking God for the day we had, and for keeping us, along with our families, in it. We thank God for our provisions, for our protection that we made it safely through the day, and more…

Back in the day, parents sat with their children and talked about their day at school, and at work

How was it?

What happened?

What did you do?

What could you have done?

It’s family time, a precious time that we have gotten away from in many ways.

But it’s time that we need with our Father who promises to dwell with us. (See vs 45. )

Many claim to dwell (Psalm 91), but can you really dwell with a person you are not communicating with?

So, check this out…

It is here also that we find out what it truly means to dwell like Psalm 91 says. And it’s clear that if we are not daily spending time in the presence of God then we are not dwelling as we thought.

I thank you so much for asking me about that daily offering and how often it was done.

I laugh now because when DAD woke me I began to continue working on the project that I had been sitting before the Lord with and intend to share.  So, when   i went to Exodus looking for Gods original intent with the people of Israel and how things got shifted to including  not just natural Israel but also spiritual Israel (that means it includes us, too) i didn’t expect to get this lesson interjected in my studies lol.

So when I stumbled across the daily offering, and was led to look at it – oowee, what a blessing.

It is now 5:35am.

Lol

What an amazing breakfast this was, lol

And I’m not a breakfast eater as far as eggs bacon or even cereal. I do eat breakfast, but only when I’m hungry.

Yet, daily, I do get up early and sit before the Lord to study. lol. I didn’t think of it as I was led to see it today.

So in this you have given me another way to look at this that I do . A better way. So that it doesn’t become a fleshly ritual, but a spiritual family breakfast time – my breakfast time with Dad, and the breakfast time for all the children of God

WOW!

We need not skip any meals.

Thank you, Father Yahweh and King Jesus, for that blessing. Thank you for causing one of YOUR servants to inquiry of me regarding the daily sacrifice. And then for leading me to understand it.

Now it’s time for me to share this lol.

One response to “Wake Up! Come To The Table For Breakfast!”

  1. funny how as I reread over this i heard the comment which is what I will answer regarding eating physical food.

its what Jesus said when undergoing temptation in reference to turning stones to bread. (See Matthew 4)

KING Jesus said we don’t live on bread alone, but on every utterance that comes forth from God’s mouth.

yes, that is why I was full. Lol
