Did you know that the most valuable commodity/resource you have is TIME?
Many put thought into how they spend and manage money. When it comes to time, not as much thought is put into how it is spent and managed. But what many miss is this…
Once the money is gone, you can replace it.
Once the time is gone, it’s lost forever.
Irreplaceable.
3 times now I have been made to consider time:

1. With the writing of the most powerful and individually personalized book I’ve ever written – 24HOURS
(Available at Amazon using this link: bit.ly/book24hours)

2. With the creation of AN ORGANIZATIONAL DREAM: My Personalized Dayplanner
(Available using this link: bit.ly/booksbyjodilynnLULU)

3. And this past Sabbath, in my study of Mark chapters 15-16.
Initially, on Saturday when i first read it, i felt like i just read words. So, i returned to it on Sunday, and what was unlocked to me, due to my obedience, was amazing.
Horology.

Horology is the study of time and the creation of a way to measure time.
Now understand this, I had no idea that this is what i was doing. Not even when I was led to write the book, 24 HOURS, where I challenged the reader to honestly examine their 24 Hours to see how they spent it and where, if at all, it was wasted.
Here is a snippet of the book which is available on Amazon.

I learned a lot from writing this book and governed my steps accordingly. I guess i graduated, or leveled up, because several years after writing the book, I was once again called to consider the management of [my] time by creating a day planner to help me track how I spent my day. I just didn’t know that this is what I was doing.
(I found that the store bought planners were too expensive considering they did not provide the type of management that I needed. So, I had to create on that fit all of my management needs.)

While the first one was nice. The second one contains the adjustments that made it perfect. I already purchased my planner for this year 😁. From here on end, every two years, i will only need to update the yearly calendars.
That part of managing my time was easy. I had a ball using my dayplanner. But I did not expect what was next to come as once again I find myself led to consider time.
What’s weird is that I do not wear watches. I stopped a while ago, but just recently started wearing a fitbit to track my steps, not my time.
Now what’s crazy is this, while I am not a watch wearer, I would definitely wear a watch whose face was the 24-hour visual that I created (shown below). Lol.

Anyway…
Looking at the full 24-hours enables me to see the full day, and my progression through the day. (Kind of reminds me of army time) In this way, I can see my time and endeavor to spend it wisely, especially when I aim to be efficient and productive – a dream, a goal, and soon to be a reality.
I have shared, to my YouTube platform, videos of when I first created this full day visual and how I stumbled, tripped, and fell into Horology. I also just uploaded a video where I discuss it in more detail.
Why?
Because of this:
To read further, one must decide within themselves if they are ready and willing to be honest with themselves and not make excuses.
Why? Because we will each have to give an account when we stand before the Lord on judgment day. So, we can either take our chances, or we can prepare by considering what is written in God’s Word.
The choice is yours.
Will you stop here, or continue reading.
I am glad you chose to take this journey with me. I, too, am choosing to be prepared by paying attention.
We will first look at what Jesus said at Matthew 25:14-30

Each of us has gifts, talents, given to us from God Almighty.

Everyone’s gifts and talents are different. Some gifts are more prominent, placing them gifted one in the forefront, and some gifts and talents are silent, being more supportive in nature. Those with these gifts are not often seen or publicly acknowledged.
Remember, every joint supplies. So don’t think that because you don’t have a gift or talents that has the world knowing your name that you are not talented.
Being supportive is a gift. Many are not. Being patient is a gift. Many are not. Being kind and gentle is a gift. Many are not. Some of the greatest gifts are the most overlooked. The individual that you are is a gift. There is no one else like you.
With that being said, King Jesus will be returning SOON, and when He does, we will have to give an account for our words and actions.
We want to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many. Enter into the joy of the Lord.”

But there are some who, like the one who received one talent, will not hear, “Well done.” In actuality, they will be told to depart, and they will be called “unprofitable”.
There is another parable of a servant who was getting ready to be fired because he mismanaged his masters belongings, so he quickly called in everyone who owed his master and he cut their bills in half. He was called shrewd after having did that. This parable is found in Luke 16:1-13.

I mention that because, you know how on the rear view mirrors of a car it is written, ‘The objects in mirror are closer than they appear,” well, the return of King Jesus is sooner than we think.
Will we be ready? Will you be ready? Will I be ready?
Will we be found paying attention?
Or, will we be caught off guard?
Will we be ready to give an account for our time spent on this earth – our words spoken, our actions, our time wasted?
What will we have to show to prove that our time was well spent and not foolishly wasted?
Is it possible that how we spend our time on earth will impact our wealth in heaven?
The richest we amass here on earth is worthless in heaven. Have we been so focused on getting rich here on earth that we neglected storing up treasures in heaven?
Do we even know how to store up treasures in heaven?
Did we take the time to discover how to store up treasures in heaven?
Can we honestly say that our lives are lived in such a way that we will hear King Jesus say to us, “Well done?”
We are now at the point of no return. Will you continue this journey with me? You see, what we are preparing to face now is that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts. So, it’s very possible that where we think that we are fine…
The choice is yours to continue …
This is where the road gets difficult. You see, for many who are churchgoers, there is a pride that is felt in the fact that one gathers in the building weekly, when so many do not.
Many are under the assumption that church attendance is what will cause one to hear, “Well done.” But is that the case.
, t
The truth of the matter is that many are in for a rude awakening.
The truth of the matter is that simply attending church services for 2 hours on Sunday, participating in choir, and attending some of the gatherings held by the church is not enough.
In Jeremiah 2:13, God says that His people have committed two sins. They forsook HIM – the Fountain of Living Water – and hewn out for themselves broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Do you understand what that means?
To help you understand, let me ask these questions:
How much time do you spend watching TV? Daily.
(Remember, we are called to be honest.)
How much time do you spend on social media?
How much time do you spend reading God’s Word – the Bible, not an inspirational book, not a daily meditation, not a church service on TV or the internet, but God’s infallible written Word made up of 66 books?
While church service is good, it does not take the place of sitting in the presence of the Lord listening to the Holy Spirit speak to our hearts individually as we read God’s Word.
My saying this will shock many and probably cause you to shut me out or down and refuse to hear anything else from me.
But can you ignore what King Jesus said at Matthew 7:21-23

He said…
“MANY…” (that’s not a few, but a lot)
“…In that day…” (the day in which we will all have to individually give an account for our lives spent on this earth in which we all were given 24HOURS.)
“…will say to Me…” (this is our response after the books in heaven have been opened regarding us.)
[ You do know that there are books written in heaven regarding us, right. (Revelation 20:12) Some our names ARE written in and some our names ARE NOT written in. (See Exodus 32:32; Deuteronomy 29:20; Psalm 69:28; Isaiah 4:3; Jeremiah 17:13; Daniel 12:1; Luke 10:20; Philippians 4:3; Hebrews 12:23; Revelation 3:5; 20:12; 21:27) ]
“… Lord, Lord…” ( said twice is to emphasize what is next said. )
“…did I not prophesy in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and do many wonders in Your name?” (Understand that none of these are things the world would do. The world is not prophesying. The world is not casting out demons. They are playing and partying with demons. They are not doing wonders in the name of Jesus. They are doing wonders in their own name and promoting themselves and their own talents.
So, it would be those who are active in the church who would have this response.
And notice what Jesus said to them at Matthew 7:23

So, you and I both need to make sure that we are making use of the time that we have and not waste it. We need to make sure that we are doing God’s will. We need to not assume that we are doing God’s will simply because we attend church services or participate in church functions. We need to carve out time in our daily busy lives to get in the presence of the Lord by sitting and listening attentively to the word of God as we read it. (Just like we sit attentively watching television, and/or our cellphones.)
If we are not strong readers that is no excuse. We can pull up the bible online and have it read to us using our phones, YouTube, or even online apps such as Bible Gateway or even Audible. There are a lot of amazing readers at our disposal.
Also, the best way to improve our reading is to practice, and there is no better place to practice than in reading the Bible.
Remember, we are told in the word of God to buy out the opportune time, and that time is now because when King Jesus comes, it will be too late then.

I hope this blesses someone
But I now need to let this go because I’ve spent a lot of time on this and even wrote it twice because I accidentally lost the first one and even forgot about it, but was reminded of it today and found that i had to rewrite it, smh. Lol
So now, having edited it a countless number of times, I believe it’s time to let this one fly and reach as many as are willing to hear.
Forgive me for any spelling errors or missed punctuation. I’m writing this from my phone, so sometimes my thumbs hit the wrong button. Lol.
Anyway, yes, we all need to start paying attention. We need to put the distractions down. There are so many distractions (from the government, as well as the entertainment industries).
Time is running out. It’s time for us to be shrewd like the servant who knew he was about to be fired, and so he went and handled matters quickly and shrewdly so that he could be prepared when it was time for him to give an accounting.

Thank you reading. I hope this blessed you.
Please take time to read those scriptures regarding the books in heaven.
