I did not include 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 in what I shared. But now I see that this scripture is what I was being shown as I was being taught that there is a purpose for the fire.
When parenting, we need to consider the example we are setting as children to our Heavenly Father. For example, as I require obedience, am I being obedient? Our children are reflections of us.
