What type of blog is this?
Between a FATHER and HIS daughter started as a journal of written prayers. It was the time that I, one of many daughters of the King, would spend talking to ABBA about anything and everything.
Before becoming digital, this time evolved into a place of listening and deep studies in the Word of God. These recorded conversations between a FATHER and HIS daughter were unique and so precious that I knew that I needed to document this first for my children, and then, for my siblings in Christ.
In its digital format, this place, the personal prayer closer of Mrs. Jodi L. Serino-Barbour, once hidden in Silence, has grown yet again into a placed shared with the intent to inspire, motivate, encourage and build up the faith of those who drop by from time to time.
The growth spurts has required the updating of our space both physically and virtually. We have finally found a workable space that is comfortable and breathable allowing us room to stretch. So please pardon us as we work to organize and rearrange some things in our digital space into the various rooms that have been created due to necessity.
Who is JodiLynn SB?
I enjoy reading books. I find that I get into that which I am reading about to the point where I can see the colors, smell the scents, hear the sounds and feel all of the passion of that which I am reading about.
Since 2003, my passion for reading extended to the reading of the Word of God. I have read and enjoyed so many different versions and translations from the Good News Translation, the Message, the New International Version, the New King James Version (which I am currently enjoying), the Living Bible, the English Standard Version, the New American Bible, the DAKES King James Version, the New World Translation, the Amplified Bible, the New Living Translation, and through Biblegateway.com I have access to even more translations and versions.

Walks on Water
The in-depth written studies that I have found myself working on under inspiration is what I call Walks on Water. Though they have been scattered all over the place for a while (forgive me), I am currently in the process of organizing them all under their own page. I haven’t yet figured out how to post the outlines that the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, had me drawing up for years.
Some of these studies that I call “Walks on Water” have gone on to become published books such as,

The Dreamer
Father said that in the last days that He would pour out His Spirit on all sort of Flesh.
I am a dreamer. When I have dreams that are impressed so heavily upon me that I remember them even after I have awakened then I try to write them down.
Whether I understand the dream or not, I try to write down all of the details that I can remember. I know that some of the dreams that I am given I might not understand. I also know that all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding comes from the Lord. I know that if I am supposed to understand that which I dream that understanding will come from the Lord himself who gave the dream. I know that if I once understanding of what I dream I can always ask the Lord and He will answer and show me.
