I Prayed for You…

Originally dated 11-29-2021 yet still applicable

There is something that is weighing so heavy on my heart. And right now it’s like a jumble of scriptures that all tie in but if I speak it now it would come out like

“%;÷*#\,€(=&%:/:&÷_.#”

Lol

And that’s crazy because I’ve been here before where I am hearing in English but when I try to speak it comes out in a tongue that I don’t recognize. It comes out garbled.

I even tried to audio record it and nothing acted right.

What I am allowed to say is that my “single sisters” are heavy on my heart.

We are all coming under an attack.
There is yet another wave of attacks coming thru where we are being drawn out by our desires.

For my single sisters, oh how I pray for you all. I pray that your desire to marry is not so strong that the enemy is able to use that to draw you away from our Heavenly Father and who HE has for you. 2 Timothy 3:6.

Jesus said that anyone who comes in by some other way than by the door is a thief and robber. John 10:1-10.

You all are so heavy on my heart right now.

And because I can see the thief and want to
Snatch some of you as if out the fire (Jude 1:23) I feel as if I am being held back and that has me frustrated and so close to tears for you.

Psalm 11:3 when the foundations are broken what can the righteous do?

Pray

Romans 8:26,27 when we don’t know to pray as we ought we have help from the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has held me back today.

Ive been shushed.

  1. Take thorn out of your own eye so that you can see first.

That is what I did which is why I was able to see what this attack was.

A bait.

Which is why I wasn’t allowed to speak.
The enemy was trying to use someone else’s quicksand moment to entrap me.

So even though I am my sister’s keeper, I had to find another way to fight for the children of God

Then I saw some of my brothers coming under a similar attack. A baiting designed to draw us out.

Shh

I have been silenced to protect me.
Shh. Proverbs 26:4-5

So I got still and wept in my spirit.
I am vexed over what is happening to some of the daughters who are single with a strong desire to marry. A desire so strong that they are being pulled out from under the protective covering of the Most High.

I am angry.
Be angry but do not sin.

That’s where the enemy tries to bait me.
He is trying to bait me into a blind rage.
Not today Satan.

So I stood down today.
I stand down even now.

I pray for these daughters.

I am reminded of when Father said that He was looking for someone who would stand in the gap but He found no one. Ezekiel 22:30,31.

But like Isaiah I said, “Here I am, send me”

I will go.
I will speak.
I will warn.
I will stand in the gap.

My heart is so heavy for the single sisters.
I pray that their ears are opened to hear so that their eyes can be opened to see. In the name of Jesus according to John 10:1-5.

For those who find themselves entrapped, I pray that they remember that the righteous fall seven times but they get back up. Oh Holy Angels, help them get back up in the name of Jesus Christ according to Proverbs 24:16.

Wow I have a whole new understanding of Ecclesiastes 4:9,10.

Thank you Father for allowing me to see.
Thank you Father for making me be still so that you could show me how to act.
Thank you Father for reminding me that the most powerful thing that I could ever do in any situation is to pray.
Thank you Father for causing me to take the rafter out of my own eye so that I could see where to pray.
Thank you Father for the help of the Holy Spirit to keep me in this place of agitation until I lifted this up to you.

Father, we all need you. King Jesus told us this day would happen. HE said that Satan asked to sift us as wheat but HE prayed for us that our faith not fail.

Father I pray that for us all especially your single daughters. I pray that our faith not fail.

The weapons formed but you said it won’t prosper. Thank you Lord. Thank you for your protective covering over us.

Thank you for deliverance and restoration in the name of King Jesus.

May you get the glory out of this
In Jesus name I pray.
So be it

  1. Thanks for the a new challenge you have unveiled in your blog post. One thing I’d prefer to reply to is that FSBO interactions are built with time. By presenting yourself to the owners the first few days their FSBO will be announced, before the masses commence calling on Monday, you make a good link. By giving them methods, educational resources, free reviews, and forms, you become a strong ally. By using a personal affinity for them along with their scenario, you produce a solid interconnection that, on many occasions, pays off once the owners decide to go with a real estate agent they know and trust – preferably you.

    • Hi. Thank you for the wealth you just poured into me. I read this twice because though I saw the wealth when I first read your comment I didn’t know what FSBO was lol. I know now that this means for sale by owner. Though I’m not sure how to apply that part I can say that you dropped some real gems on me and I caught them.

      1. You reminded me that good things are “built with time”. This reminds me to be patient and to keep building. (Why am I all of a sudden seeing the Apostle Paul? Hmm. 🤔)

      2. You encouraged me to present myself to the owners within the first few days. What I get from this is to keep responding quickly to the comments I am receiving here and you showed me the results from it.

      3. You encouraged me to give methods, educational resources, free reviews and forms. I heard to make it interactive and to present that which adds value to those who are connecting to me – something that can be taken away in return and used.

      4. You also said be personal in my response that helps with connecting and it makes the person feel that I am really paying attention and really do value the connection.

With each you also shared with me the impact that will have on that which I am building.

Though I still don’t understand the FSBO part I am sure that when it’s time the Holy Spirit will make that plain to me just as I was able to glean the rest of this amazing compliment and encouragement you sent me.

Thank you. I value that which you just poured into me. I will definitely come back to read this again.

I was made aware of something and my spirit was vexed so I wrote to contain my own annoyance and from there I dropped in prayer. It calmed me down and I believe it was effective because I know the power of prayer.

    • Wow. To God be the Glory. For whatever it is that you are working on if you make Proverbs 3:5-6 your motto then you will have success.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge HIM and HE will make your paths straight.

Remember that all wisdom knowledge and understanding come from God. Exodus 31:1-3.

  5. I cling on to listening to the news bulletin talk about receiving boundless online grant applications so I have been looking around for the best site to get one. Could you advise me please, where could i acquire some?

    • I don’t know specifically where you would go. But what I tell everyone is to pray about it.

If there is something that you are working on that you feel God gave you to do then do like Ezekiel did in Ezekiel 37.

There God asked Ezekiel “can these dead bones live again”

Ezekiel responded “you alone know that answer”

And God proceeded to give the answer to Ezekiel.

This is why my website and all of my writings are now done under The Artisan’s Pen. You see GOD called an artisan those whom HE filled with all wisdom knowledge and understanding in every sort of craft and workmanship. Exodus 31:1-3.

If HE called you to it HE will bring you thru it. He will enable you to step outside the box so that what you do for HIM will be so unbelievable. Why? Because the wisdom of God is higher than the wisdom of men.

God said that Your eyes have not seen your ears have not heard and neither has it come into your thoughts the great things he has in store for you

God said He knows the plans HE has for you, to give you a future and a hope and not to harm you.

He is our source. He said he will give seed to the sower and bread for food.

Do you believe this? Do you Trust God?

God will open your eyes to see provisions he has for you.

He will give you the wisdom to Google grants or online grants and follow the steps. Or look up philanthropy or philanthropy.com or philanthropost.

You have to ask God and listen for His response and then do what he tells you.

Then it will flow easily. God opens doors no man can close and HE closes doors no man can open.

      Ask God.
      Believe God.
      Trust God

Then things will turn around. Oh and don’t try to box God in. HE is great and cannot be confined to the limitations of man. Align yourself with what God is doing.

My answer was probably not what you were looking for. But… It won’t hurt you to step out on faith and believe.

May you find that success can only come from trust in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6

  6. The very heart of your writing whilst appearing reasonable originally, did not sit very well with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in logic and one might do nicely to help fill in all those gaps. If you can accomplish that, I would certainly end up being fascinated.

    • Hi, First let me say that I am so grateful for your comment. I really do appreciate it. I answered it yesterday, but I was not home, and where I was I didn’t have good internet reception because though I sent my response apparently it didn’t go thru. On my end, it shows as if nothing has been sent in response from me. So I count it not robbery to take this time again, this time from my home computer, and this time without distractions around me.

So, let me start off by saying thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. Thank you for sharing that you did enjoy them. and thank you for the pause that caused you to address me again. That was powerful. Very powerful. You said, “Somewhere throughout the sentences you were able to make me a believer, unfortunately just for a while.” That was a very powerful statement and I am so grateful that you are allowing me to address it.

You see in Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus told us to go and make disciples, not converts. A convert is simply one who will change religions. A disciple is one who will change their lifestyle from the inside out. That’s key because when it is from inside out this means that things have been thought about, prayed about, pondered over more and prayed about even more. You see, the actual change will come from the time you spend with the Lord yourself in relation to the things you have heard. I like how Luke wrote about it in his letter to Theophilus, when he spoke of the Bereans and how they liked what they heard, but they took what they heard and examined it further checking to make sure that what they heard was correct. (Acts 17:11)

I am not trying to convert anyone. I am a writer and so what you have enjoyed reading has been my personal journey of faith. The website was originally called Between A FATHER and HIS daughter. lol. The fact that you are now seeing theartisansPEN.com is because Artisan is what Father called me (Exodus 31:3) recently with the new assignment that I was given and am working on releasing. It serves as a reminder to me in all that I do through the Lord that all wisdom knowledge and understanding come from the Lord. God gets all the glory, and I am grateful for the reminder.

So, the quickening you felt in what you read was not me at all. You felt the lighting of a fire inside of you as you experienced the fire inside of me that was lit from my spending time in the presence of the LIGHT (King Jesus who has been pouring into me through the Holy Spirit).

You stated that your experience was only temporary. This is because the fire that you felt inside of you has to be fanned into a flame. 2 Timothy 1:6 tells us to fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of hands. What you read that I wrote is a laying on of hands (just like when you write and others read what you write is a laying on of hands). When we read what is written by others it has a wide variety of effects depending on what is written. The things that I write comes from the time I spend in the presence of the Lord reading God’s Word. That is why my writings have the impact that they are having. It’s because what I am writing about is what I am learning from the Word of God which is Jesus.

King Jesus said that if HE is lifted up HE will draw all men (and women) unto Him. Personally speaking, it is not my writings that have any power at all. It is the Word of God that holds the power to quicken you the way it is. That quickening comes from understanding what you are reading and being able to apply it in your everyday life. So as I read God’s Word and God gifts me with understanding (because wisdom knowledge and understanding come from God) then I am set on fire by what was written long ago by others who spent time in the presence of the Lord and wrote about what they experienced.

Now, in turn, as I am moved to write and share my experiences in walking with the Lord, in learning to trust in the Lord, in having my eyes of understanding opened to some things, in receiving the word of God placed upon my tongue so that I can write the things the Lord is teaching me through the Holy Spirit, then the fire I feel quickens in you. In turn, as you continue to fan the flame of fire inside of you and you begin to share your own personal testimonies about the goodness of the Lord in your life, it will in turn have the same impact on others. We are all connected. We each impact one another. Or as the Word of God puts it, every joint supplieth. (Ephesians 4:16.)

The way you keep the fire going that has been set inside of you is you have to get in the presence of the Lord with what you read and let the Lord pour into you even more understanding and knowledge. He tells us to ask of Him and He will show us great and unsearchable things. (Jeremiah 33:3)

That takes me to the part where you stated that you have a problem with my leaps in logic. (smiling) My answer to that would be Jeremiah 33:3. I am a visual learner. I am also book-smart. Because of being book-smart, I had to fight myself a long time ago to stop just reading words and getting a surface understanding. I started to look up definitions of words and take time to pause when I saw a comma or to stop and think about what I read. I started asking questions like an annoying child (laughing). Father said I could, so I did, and He answered me. That was the best part for me. Hearing.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. That statement is so true. OOWEE I have a story that I need to share about how I first began hearing the Word of God speak to me. OOWEE. What I can tell you is this: Father desires to speak to us all, but man has gotten in the way of that by requiring that we listen to their voice over the voice of the Spirit of God bearing witness with our spirit. I think I need to write a book about hearing the voice of the Lord. I can tell you this of that experience. I was reading the book of Romans and I received a book called Revelation in the mail from my mom. I was so excited to read it that I unwittingly began doing what I vowed not to do which is to read a bunch of words and not really know what I was reading because I was reading but not listening. I paused to consider what I read in Romans and where I knew what the first five chapters were talking about, I didn’t know what I read in the other chapters. I finished the last chapter but my conscious wouldn’t let me start Revelation. So I started reading Romans all over again.

I started at chapter One of Romans and I read slowly each verse. I would pause and consider the verse read before I went to the next verse. I think I was reading from the Good News Translation at the time. (I read from a lot of translations and versions. I enjoy comparison reading.) So, when I got to verse 8 which says, “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because the whole world is hearing about your faith…” I promise you I didn’t hear my own voice. I heard a deep male voice. LOL. It scared me and I closed my Bible. I looked around me at the others who were in my presence. They were watching The Matrix on television and not paying attention to me. I opened my Bible and started again at verse number one of Romans chapter one, but when I got to verse eight I heard the same thing, and I closed my bible and looked at the others. They didn’t hear what I heard, but what I heard was so loud. It felt as if the Apostle Paul was talking directly to me. One more time I started at verse one of Romans chapter one and when I heard the Apostle Paul speak again as I read the words of the letter to the Romans, this time I did not close my bible but I kept reading. Every time it said “you” I felt as if he was talking to me. From that moment on, my experience with reading the Bible was amazing. I literally felt as if I was taken into the Bible. I spent time with Noah, Abraham, Jacob and his sons, and more. I heard the sounds and I smelled the aromas and I saw it just as when you watch television. (Actually, some of the best movies come from books that were so well written it was taken to the screen. ) I fell in love with reading God’s Word. It was no longer a chore. I discovered just how REAL God truly is and I had some of the most amazing experiences not just in God answering me in the most awe-inspiring ways, but also in God disciplining me. OOWEE let me tell you I have gotten in trouble many times LOL. Though I laugh, I definitely don’t want a repeat of those times. I laugh a lot because Father has given me a double portion of joy. But the most painful time I have is when Father is quiet. I use to feel that I did something wrong. I’d repent, fast, and cry. Then, one day the Holy Spirit has me see a student testing in a classroom. He said that while the student is testing the teacher is silent, and I understood.

But even in all of that, it came from the time I spent sitting reading God’s Word and talking to Father in prayer about all that I was reading. It was personal time that I spent, just me and my Father. When it was something that I was having difficulty understanding, He would make me write it down so that I could visualize it because I am a visual learner. Then, as I would begin to understand what I was learning, I was made to apply what I was learning to today. You see, many read the bible as a history book. They read it as applying only to yesterday, and because of this, they cannot see the correlation to today. Father helps me to apply what I am reading to our times today. This is what has helped me to understand what I am reading. I was allowed to see the people in the bible as real people. I saw the first instance of Baby mama drama in the experience of Abraham dealing with Sarah and Hagar. The Bible is full of intrigue, suspense and so much more.

I’ve learned not just to believe in God but to trust God. I still make mistakes. Many. But the relationship I have with Dad is one that I can talk to Dad and I know that HE will answer me. Many people say that they believe in God. But there is a difference between believing and trusting. We are told in Hebrews that without faith it is impossible to please God well. We are told that there are two things that need to be done if we are to please God well. 1. We need to believe that God is. Many people do that because we have been trained to say that we believe that God is. But when it comes to the second thing, this is where many have an issue. 2. We need to believe that God is a Rewarder of our faith. That means that we need to believe that God is able – that God can do exceedingly abundantly ABOVE all we can think or ask. We need to remember that God doesn’t see things the way we see them. We need to remember that nothing is hidden from God. Many times we only think of God when we are talking about Him to another or going thru the ritual of prayer. But God is so very REAL. He does answer us too when we pray. But imagine this, He wants more than the ritual of prayer. He wants to have a real relationship with each of us. This means the interaction of communication. Not just our speaking in prayer than saying amen and walking away. But our listening to Him for an answer.

I’ve probably written too much. If so, I apologize. I just fall in love when it comes to talking about my relationship with Dad. It’s amazing to have a real relationship and not religion. I know the difference because there was a time when I had religion and not a relationship even though I loved the Lord. Father knew me. He came for me when I was so lost. He gently revealed himself to me drawing me to him. laughing, Yes I can keep going. It is indicative of a person who has fallen in love, and there is no doubt where you experience the leaps. The leap is not in logic. The leap is in love. I believe that God’s Word is true. Because I love the Lord, and I believe that God’s Word is truth, then I won’t justify my own behavior if the Word of God is telling me that my behavior is not in alignment with the Word of God. Instead, I will ask the Lord to help me, to cleanse me, to renew me, to give me a clean heart, to give me the right spirit, to show me areas where my walk is not in alignment with the word of God.

I need to end here. I’ve already talked your ear off LOL. But really, it all starts with your personal time spent with the Lord in prayer and in reading God’s Word – every day. Start there and I promise you your spirit will begin soaring too…

ooo… lol. Daddy just showed me this to share with you.
When Jesus was talking to the woman by the well and He revealed himself to her. She left everything to go tell the people of the city she lived in. She said, “come and see, could this be…” The men of the city came out and saw for themselves. They had a conversation with Jesus themselves that was so amazing that they were able to say as found in John 4:41-42 “we believe now, not because of what you said, but because we ourselves have heard him, and we know that he really is the Savior of the world.”

My prayer is that this is your experience. That you have your own close encounter with the Lord that enables you to fan your fire into flames. and that your relationship becomes so personal that it is not based upon what someone else has said but based upon your own personal experiences of the Lord showing up and showing out in your life. When that happens for you, please reach out to me so that I too can benefit from and be encouraged by your own personal testimony. To God be the glory. May the Lord complete in you the good work that was started in accordance with His word found in Philippians 1:6.

    • Hi. Thank you for your support. I believe it’s all in God’s timing. I like the slow and steady. Its a sign of growth that is healthy. I like to believe that God wont give me more than I can handle, and that He also protects me from the harm that can come from swelling. You see, I desire that in all I do God get the glory. The time required to put all this together first requires that I stay in the presence of the Lord. I trust the process. This journey, a walk of faith, has been amazint because it’s been no one but me holding the hand of the Holy Spirit who is my tutor. I already can see the pages that are coming but not yet being worked on. This platform is way bigger than me. I’m watching it all unfold just as you are. LOL and though I’ve been writing here for a while, this as it looks now just birthed a month or two ago. Isn’t it crazy. It just happened in the middle of another two projects that are being worked on. You and I are at the ground floor of this. Please join me in watching where the Lord takes this. I’m already excited for 2023 and your encouraging words just fueled my excitement even more. Thank you again.

    • Hello, thank you. This has developed from years of writing and grooming under the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am a published author (bit.ly/booksbyjodilynn) and the Holy Spirit has me working on a project that is very soon to be released and with it came the organization of my website.

I have a lot of writings and mp3s and videos @theartisanspen on YouTube that I am trying to incorporate in here. I too am amazed at how it is all unfolding.

I do have three subscriber pages on this website that are by donation only which helps me to keep my software updated so that I can continue. But everything else is free. Even on the subscriber pages there is some free so that you can see what is offered.

Each page is like a book chapter to me where my writings are categorized. I will be updating with a post later tonight.

Anyway (I am a writer and have to catch myself lol) I am so grateful for all of the support and compliments. I truly have to glorify God for this. It was His timing for sure because I’ve been writing for a long time.

I look forward to your returned visit.
