Intimacy Starts with Prayer…

…and prayer is all about communicating.

The most amazing of my writings have always started with random conversations with Father where I would talk to Him about whatever was on my heart, and He would respond – teaching me, correcting me, showing me “great and unsearchable things” (Jeremiah 33:3), things I never want to forget. Now I don’t have to.

This is between a daughter and her Father. This is intimacy.

    As i prepare to embarrass myself with this personal testimony of my trialsome day today, i must admit that though i was not kept from the hour of trial, i was definitely kept in it.

    A practical application of the importance of each of the gates of Jerusalem for us today. Living during a time when the foundations have been broken, if we can see what gate needs to be repaired, then it is of the utmost importance that we fix it, otherwise we might find ourselves trying to build and repair in the wrong areas. It is time that it is made clear that we are the temple of God. ( 1 Corinthians 3), and we are what is in need of repair – not the brick and mortar buildings.

    If we don’t make it a habit to spend time reading God’s Word daily, can we really claim that we are confessing Jesus, or are we really guilty of denying Jesus – our time and attention? If we deny Jesus our time and attention while here on earth, what can we expect from Jesus when we get to the heaven that we claim to be going to. It’s imperative that we understand what it means to confess and deny Jesus before men on earth.
