This thought came to me yesterday, but I didnt post it. I just thought it….
But this morning it returns… same thought… so here it is…
(It’s just something i am not understanding… though in a way i do understand it…)

We all say we want God’s Choice for us, in reference to the mates we choose for our selves…
BUT…
We demonstrate in our actions that we are so impatient.

So we get in one relationship after another only to discover that the person was not the one we thought and initially claimed them to be…
and then we say again… that we want GODs choice for us…
But do we spend time looking for “GOD’S Choice” in a mate by spending more time looking to GOD to direct us. We can’t say that this is what we are doing if we are not digging deep into God’s Word.
What made me think of this TWICE? Is it that we are so close to the end?
Signs are popping up everywhere proving what time we are living in, and on top of that so many of us are getting this burden for CHRIST – a burden to get it right because JESUS’ RETURN is so very close at hand.
Yet, at the same time, so many are also distracted by strong desires and lusts, talking about this guy they met or this girl they met or wanting a husband or wife???

Jesus said regarding this time….
Luke 17:27-30
New International Version (NIV)
27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
These are everyday normal things. The issue is not with these normal things, but with the fact that people will be so focused on living that they will not be paying attention.

So many are spending their time looking for and trying to get into relationships, instead of working on the most important relationship that we all have …. our relationship with our Heavenly Father through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST…
This is almost scary because when that day comes… what might JESUS say to those who were preoccupied
Matthew 7:21-23
New International Version (NIV)
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
I dont want to hear JESUS say that to me. Do you?
I already know that not many are going to want to read this post nor heed the warning. “What do I know?” they will reason in their hearts, because I am married. They will reason in their heart that I am speaking against living and marrying and enjoying life, but that is not the case.
Instead, I am encouraging everyone (and reminding myself) to pay attention, and to feed our relationship with God Almighty as much as, if not more than, we feed our bodies and its various lusts.
Yet, in my heart this is what I am hearing, and what has me so concerned and burdened for this world and the “christians” that live in it:
Luke 17:34
New International Version (NIV)
34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
So what is the rush?
To those who are single:
God gives everyone free will but keeping the above verses in mind…
Take note of where we are in time…
Take note, and make it your aim to let nothing distract you from hearing from God so that you can receive God’s choice for you. Remember…

For those who are married:
Are you eternity minded?
If you are a Christian, if you have chosen JESUS to be your LORD and SAVIOR, how are you living your life?
Remember that how you live your Christian life will determine how you will spend your eternity. You will be called into account for how you handled your stewardship.
How are you taking care of what God gave you? Are you being a good steward over what God has given you?
If you are not a christian, if you have NOT chosen JESUS CHRIST to be your LORD and SAVIOR then your choice to postpone this most important choice will determine where you will spend your eternity.
To the believer:
I pray for you, and i ask you to pray for me.
Not only do we want to make it ourselves, but we want our families to make it too.
Our hope and heart is that no one related to us is left behind so I pray for you and I ask that you pray for me too…
And I ask that we both keep one another accountable to pray for the entire world because guess what…
We are ALL related to one another. We are ALL descended from Adam and Eve. So yeah let’s stay focused and make it thru these last days to the other side.
I wish you joy and happiness that will last an eternity.

That can only be realized if we maintain our focus on King Jesus.
Let’s keep pushing forward.
Pray for me and I will pray for you.
